Subtasks and checklists

Break a task into steps, or turn it into a checklist or a shopping list. Subtasks and checklists are part of Premium.

Add subtasks

Open a task and click Add subtask. Tick a subtask off when it’s done.

Organize them

Indent a subtask under another one, or turn a line into a Heading to group the steps — Produce, Dairy, Bakery in a shopping list.

Star the important ones

Open a subtask’s menu and choose Star. Starred subtasks move to the top, above a dividing line. Choose Unstar to put a subtask back in its place.
