How does the Apple Reminders sync work?
Here you'll find the important rules for how synchronization with Apple Reminders works:
- When connected, all incomplete events from Apple Reminders are imported immediately.;
- You can use Siri to add new events by voice;
- Events without a date are imported as today's events in Tweek;
- Two-way synchronization with complete mirroring (data is transferred both from Reminders and from Tweek, fully mirroring the event);
- Deletion works only one-way: if an event is deleted in Apple Reminders, it will be deleted in Tweek, but not vice versa ;
- If an event has a time along with the date, it will appear next to the title (similar to Google Calendar);
- The recurring aspect of the reminder is not synchronized (the reminder itself is created, but not as a recurring event);
- Location information and related details are not synchronized;
- Tweek only displays the event and does not send reminders to avoid duplicating notifications from Apple Reminders;
- Important! Events are synchronized only when Tweek is opened. New events will not appear in the web version or on Android until you open the iOS app.
