How do I subscribe to a calendar using an ICS link?

You can subscribe to any calendar that provides a public or private .ics link. This is useful for calendars that do not have a direct Tweek integration.

Calendar subscriptions are available with Premium and are set up separately for each Tweek calendar.

Connect a calendar

1. Click the initials icon in the upper right corner.
2. Go to Settings and choose the Tweek calendar where you want the events to appear.
3. Under Synchronization, switch on Calendar (.ics).
4. Paste the calendar subscription URL and click Connect.

Look for an option such as Subscribe, ICS, iCal link, or Secret address in iCal format in the source calendar. You need a subscription URL, not an .ics file downloaded to your device. Both https:// and webcal:// links are supported.

Tweek checks the source calendar for updates every five minutes. New events and changes from the source appear automatically. Imported events are normal Tweek tasks: if you edit a field in Tweek, later refreshes keep that local version of the field. Sync is one-way, so changes made in Tweek are never sent back to the source calendar.

Disconnect a calendar

Open Calendar (.ics) again and click Disconnect. Tweek forgets the subscription link and stops importing updates. Tasks that were already imported stay in your Tweek calendar as ordinary tasks.

Keep private links private

A private calendar URL may give anyone who has it access to your calendar. Do not publish it or send it to people you do not trust. If a link is exposed, replace it in the source calendar and reconnect Tweek with the new link.
