Family plan

The Family plan is Premium for up to 5 people, including you. You pay once, and everyone you invite gets full Premium on their own account.

Everyone keeps their own account

The Family plan pays for Premium; it doesn’t put anyone into a shared calendar. Each person signs in with their own email and keeps their own calendars, tasks and settings. Nobody on the plan sees what the others are planning — not the other members, and not you as the owner.

If you want a calendar you plan together — a shopping list, a family schedule — share a calendar. That works on any plan and with anyone, in your family or not.

What it costs

$9.99 a month or $89.99 a year. The Family plan starts without a free trial.

What each person gets

Everything in Premium: unlimited calendars, calendar sync (Google, Outlook, Apple Calendar and Apple Reminders), reminders, recurring tasks, subtasks and checklists, file attachments, extra colors and themes, and export.

Invite someone

Go to Settings → Family, enter the person’s email and click Invite. They get an email with a link to join.

The Family screen shows how many of your four seats are used, who is in and who hasn’t accepted yet. Next to a pending invitation you can copy the invite link and send it yourself — handy if the email doesn’t arrive — or cancel the invite.

Accept an invitation

Open the link and sign in to Tweek (or create an account). Your seat activates straight away and Premium comes with it, for as long as the plan runs. You don’t enter any payment details — the owner is paying. Your account stays your own.

Remove someone or leave

To remove someone, open the “…” menu next to their name on the Family screen and choose Remove. To leave someone else’s family, go to Settings → Family and click Leave. Either way the person moves to the free plan right away, and their tasks and calendars stay exactly where they are.

A seat is not a payment: the person in it is never charged and has no subscription to cancel. You can be in one family at a time — to start your own, leave the one you are in first.

If you invite someone who already pays for Premium, they take a seat but stay on their own subscription — we don’t touch it, and they aren’t charged twice. To save the money, they should cancel their own subscription; the family seat takes over when it runs out.

Switch to Family

On the web (Stripe): go to Settings → Family and click Switch to Family. The change is prorated — what you have already paid is credited against the new plan, so you are only charged the difference. Your monthly or annual cycle carries over.

Through the App Store or Google Play, or on an older Braintree subscription: not from inside Tweek. A store subscription is managed by Apple or Google, and buying Family on top would charge you twice. Write to us at hello@tweek.so and we’ll sort it out with you.

If you cancel

Everyone keeps Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then all accounts move to the free plan. Nobody loses any data.
